Invited Speaker
On Sunday 13th July 2025, Gurjeet Jutley was honoured to be invited as a guest speaker at the Ramgarhia Sikh Association in Woolwich for a special community health and wellbeing event. The programme, hosted in collaboration with Alcohol Free Sikhs, focused on eye health awareness and preventative care, with informative talks from a range of medical professionals.
Gurjeet Jutley attended the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute Symposium 2025 at the University of Miami, Florida, USA, on 11th January 2025. During his talk, Gurjeet Jutley covered minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries, nuances of cataract surgery in glaucoma patients, tube surgeries and surgical management of glaucoma in general.
Gurjeet Jutley along with María Concepción Guirao had the privilege of attending the Autumn Seminar of the Murcia Society of Ophthalmology hosted by Clínica Guirao. This exceptional event brought together leading professionals dedicated to advancing the field of ophthalmology.
The seminar focused on key areas in eye care, including:
Complex Clinical Cases: Insightful discussions on innovative approaches and shared experiences to enhance patient outcomes.
Advancements in Ophthalmology: Presentations highlighting new techniques, treatments, and technologies shaping the future of eye health.

Gurjeet Jutley found the seminar incredibly valuable, both for the opportunity to share his expertise and to learn from fellow specialists.

Gurjeet Jutley attended the 16th European Glaucoma Society Congress in Dublin from June 1st to 4th. This event was a remarkable blend of innovation, education, and networking. It was a pleasure to catch up with colleagues from around the globe and meet new peers, all sharing a common goal of advancing glaucoma care. The congress provided invaluable insights into the latest devices and technologies, including Minijects and ELIOS Vision, which we are eager to implement in our practice to enhance patient care. Many thanks to the organisers for such a meticulously crafted programme, covering everything from epidemiology to advanced surgical treatments.
I also had the opportunity to visit the historic Dublin Castle, adding a touch of exploration to the trip. And, of course, being in Dublin, I couldn’t resist a cheeky pint of Guinness!
A wonderful few days at the The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) in Vienna. It was a pleasure to attend and meet the industry experts, friends and partners while learning the latest developments in ophthalmology
